Booking Deposit
When you book a room with Cairns Sharehouse, you will be asked to pay a $50.00 booking deposit. This will be credited against your arrival balance when you check in. Please note if you wish to cancel your booking once the deposit has been received, a $50.00 cancellation fee applies and therefore the booking deposit will not be refunded.
Arrival Balance
On the day of check in you will be asked to pay:
- First 2 week's rent (so you will not pay any rent in the first two weeks that you stay with us)
- Last 2 weeks rent in advance (so will not have to pay any rent in the last two weeks that you stay with us)
- Security deposit of $100* - $200* per person (returned upon check out subject to your room being left clean and undamaged).
We will also credit your $50.00 booking deposit against your arrival balance payment.
Any rent due between your first two weeks and last two week's rent, is paid weekly.

Our 'Sleep Easy' Guarantee
We are so certain that you will love living with us that we even offer a ‘sleep easy’ guarantee. If you check in and for any reason you are unhappy with your room, we will offer to move you to another room at no charge (if available) or refund your money (less a small admin fee to cover our costs). You just need to let us know within 24 hours of any problems.
