Need us to fix something in your room or apartment?
Cairns Sharehouse is dedicated to the service and maintenance of our sharehouses. Our sharemates regularly see our team out and about mowing lawns, cleaning and attending to maintenance requests.
We have a full time Maintenance Team to respond to any problems from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am – 4.30 pm. Please follow the instructions below to report a problem:

Please report all general maintenance to the Cairns Sharehouse office in writing
Once we have received your request, a member of staff will be in contact with you.
Don’t forget to include:
- Your full name
- Apartment and room number
- Sharehouse address
- Please provide as much detail as possible.
Our Maintenance Team will then aim to respond/repair the problem within 48 hours.
Please remember Cairns Sharehouse will enter your room with keys in order to carry out or view the detailed repair if required and you do not need to be in attendance.
The more we know about the problem, the easier it will be us to resolve your issue on our first visit.

After hours maintenance services will be provided for emergency maintenance repairs only such as:
- Gas leak
- Burst water pipe
General maintenance is not done after-hours (overnight) or on weekends.
